Gretchen Morrissey - Illustration & Design

Gretchen Morrissey is a Taos, New Mexico based  illustrator and mixed media designer. Gretchen works across a material language of illustration, printmaking, graphic design, and natural dye chemistry.  Exploring elemental forms of the natural world Gretchen’s hybrid practice combines her knowledge of plant science with her love of illustration and design using nature as both material and inspiration.  

Select exhibitions include the James Renwick Alliance for American Craft, Paley Design Center and Textile Museum, The Kemper Museum of Art, The Surface Design Association,  others.
